Ethnographers are committed to the study of the everyday life of people and groups. Classically, ethnography has been conducted by a single researcher, sometimes called 'The Lone Ranger Ethnographer', in a single setting. Today, two-handed or duoethnographies, where paired researchers are studying one or more sites, are becoming increasingly popular as scholars are encouraged to collaborate.
