This project, funded by the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, was started by Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS), a Karachi-based integrated development NGO. This project was designed to pilot an integration of RH and FP with rural support programmes in Umerkot district, which is one of the most remote and poorest districts of Sindh, Pakistan. The modus operandi of this project is to operate in collaboration with other NGOs in the district through developing a community-based model of social marketing of RH and FP products.
