The Dominican fr.Jacinto Segura Pérez (1668-1751), historian and novator enlightened, elaborated in 1715 these outstanding annals of the distinguished school of Orihuela, in which he recapitulated the most relevant characters and events that made possible the transformation of the Dominican convent Oriolano to Pontifical and Real UniversityPublic (1569) in the magnificent school erected by the unique legacy of Patriarch Fernando de Loazes (1497-1568), administered by FR. Juan de Loazes (Ca. 1522-1609) and his successors. With the transcription, editing, translation and study of the textual sources, among which the one dedicated to the Bula Iniunctum Nobis of Pope San Pío V of 1569, from House to University, contributes to the dissemination of the historiographic sources of the Oriolano College andthe university that housed south of the kingdom of Valencia.
