Esta investigación contextualiza la composición dentro del repertorio latino y policoral del maestro; estudia la fuente que lo contiene para comprender el valor y el uso que pudo darse a la pieza en el lugar donde se conserva, el Archivo de Música de la Catedral de Valladolid y, finalmente, propone una edición crítica de la misma.

Obra que se suponía perdida aunque identificada en el "Index" de João IV.
