Alien plant species invade local areas almost everywhere in the world. In light of the impacts and consequences of such invasions, researchers have begun to pay closer attention to this phenomenon in an effort to understand its effects, and the mechanisms associated with plant invasions are now among the main themes of our research. This reprint collects original studies and research conducted from different viewpoints and carried out in different regions of the world, with an emphasis on the mechanisms that facilitate the success of invasive species and their impact on the environment and socio-economy. It also discusses contemporary approaches to monitoring, modeling, and managing plant invasions.
