In present times, we are increasingly witnessing a loss of life, especially among animals and plants. Some species are becoming extinct, while others struggle to adjust to new habitats. Human beings are looking for strategies to overcome the effects of climate change and mass extinction. The contributors to this volume reflect on how the current problems affect the living world.
