The book summarises the findings of the „Forum KITA-Entwicklung" project. The topic of organisational development plays an important role for stakeholders in the daycare system, particularly the facilities themselves, especially in times of change. This was demonstrated by a situation analysis (understanding) of trends, challenges and opportunities in daycare centre development carried out as part of the project, as well as the exchange with daycare centre experts from specialist practice and funding bodies, science and politics (networking). Improving educational quality through organisational/daycare centre development requires conscious action on the part of all relevant stakeholders.
