Education, as one of the essential pillars for building a more just and inclusive society, is the central focus of this book. It proposes debates on epistemological approaches, theoretical approaches and educational interventions, highlighting the importance of education in transforming individuals and contexts, from the student to national public policies. Divided into two parts, the book initially presents group work developed in the Institutional Assessment discipline, with significant intervention proposals for master's students. In the second part, it brings together reflections on lectures given by two experts: Dr. João Gonçalves, Director of the General Directorate of School Establishments (DGEstE), and Mestre Bercina Pereira Calçada, President of the Union of Education and Teaching Inspectors (SIEE). These renowned guests connected theory and practice by bringing up-to-date and inspiring information about educational policy, reinforcing the alignment between public policies and professional training. The interaction between leaders and students promoted reflections and concerns about Educational Administration. The book contributes to public debate and to the construction of a more innovative, transformative and reflective education.

A educação, como um dos pilares essenciais para a construção de uma sociedade mais justa e inclusiva, é o foco central deste livro. Ele propõe debates sobre abordagens epistemológicas, enfoques teóricos e intervenções educacionais, destacando a importância da educação na transformação de indivíduos e contextos, desde o aluno até às políticas públicas nacionais. Dividido em duas partes, o livro apresenta inicialmente trabalhos em grupo desenvolvidos na disciplina de Avaliação Institucional, com propostas de intervenção significativas para os mestrandos. Na segunda parte, reúne reflexões sobre palestras ministradas por dois especialistas: Dr. João Gonçalves, Diretor da Direção-Geral dos Estabelecimentos Escolares (DGEstE), e Mestre Bercina Pereira Calçada, Presidente do Sindicato dos Inspetores da Educação e do Ensino (SIEE). Estes convidados de renome conectaram teoria e prática ao trazer informações atualizadas e inspiradoras sobre a política educacional, reforçando o alinhamento entre políticas públicas e formação profissional. A interação dos dirigentes com os mestrandos promoveu reflexões e inquietações sobre Administração Educacional. O livro contribui para o debate público e para a construção de uma educação mais inovadora, transformadora e reflexiva.
