The volume is a result of a student-doctoral conference entitled „Aktywizacja – innowacja – akulturacja. (Glotto)dydaktyka a kryzys migracyjny", which gathered young researchers from all over the country to share their experience related to teaching Polish as a foreign language. The issues raised in volume are the answers for dynamically changing needs of students interested in studying Polish, who want to be stimulated to action (activation) during the lessons, preferably using modernized (innovative) didactics methods. In the entire teaching process, there must be a place for expanding the cultural awareness (acculturation), because it is inseparable piece of today's reality. Those issues are discussed in the publication.
