Known worldwide, especially for his studies on the philosophy of Aristotle, Enrico Berti (1935–2022) was an original thinker and, at the University of Padua, for many years—from 1971 to 2009—a highly esteemed professor who influenced entire generations of students. In this volume, some of his students wished to resume the dialogue with his philosophical work, with the aim of drawing on his precious legacy. The result is a rich and lively portrait that reflects the multiple interests cultivated by Berti and continued by his students, ranging from ancient to medieval and contemporary philosophy, and intersecting various fields, from metaphysics to logic and ethics. An appendix to the volume provides a bibliography of Enrico Berti's works, published over a very long period, from 1958 up to after his death in the early days of 2022.
