The aspiration of this text is to start the neophyte in the main generalities of social anthropology. Throughout its pages, introductory issues such as the definition of its elementary concepts, its historical tour, its specialties, their role in the framework of social sciences, their schools of thought, the peculiarities of the ethnographic approach, the notion of culture, the notion of culture, the notion of culture, the notion of culture, the notion of, the theory of otherness, the different strategies of adaptation, distribution and production, the systems of political and social organization, the forms of conflict resolution, the typologies of family, marriage and affiliation or the religious beliefs and practices. We think that the text can help in the understanding and dissemination of the primordial concepts developed within the discipline. It is intended to improve the understanding of our existence in society giving meaning to the cultural frameworks in which we inhabit, discriminating the axioms that characterize us as a public animal. The acquisition of these generalities and common points of the discipline can enrich both the future social scientist in the treasury and the self -taught apprentice eager for understanding.
