The 45th Australasian Universities Building Education Association (AUBEA) conference was hosted by Western Sydney University's (Kingswood Campus, Sydney, Australia) School of Engineering, Design, and Built Environment in collaboration with the Centre for Smart Modern Construction (Western Sydney University) between 23rd and 25th November 2022. This conference presented state-of-the-art research and adhered to the theme of "Global Challenges in a Disrupted World: Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Approaches in the Built Environment." This Special Issue Reprint contains a selection of ten outstanding research papers that were presented at this conference.
