In specific, the role of slab breakoff- and lateral tearing and their signals in the synorogenic foreland fill are analysed. For this investigation, tectonostratigraphic analyses and stratigraphic forward modelling of an orogen-foreland system shaped by slab breakoff/tearing are combined.
