The aim of this reprint is to introduce the readers to the current trends, challenges, and applications in the field of geovisualization that combines knowledge from multiple disciplines, such as cartography, geographic information science and technology, computer science and human–computer interaction, psychology, and cognitive science. The material published in this reprint is interdisciplinary. Experts in the examined field present their research findings and applications in different domains including building models, cartography and art, spatial modeling, constructions, hydrology, decision-making processes, cartographic generalization, and cartographic heritage. The variety of the presented works proves that geovisualization is an active research area, which significantly supports geospatial data exploration, analysis, and modeling.
