No existe, en su concepción de la naturaleza humana, un vacío moral, sino, por el contrario, un compromiso con la virtud como la manifestación más alta de la libertad.

El presente documento pone de relieve que el pensador liberal John Stuart Mill tiene una visión teleológica de la existencia en función de la cual concibe la libertad como la condición de posibilidad para el desarrollo de una personalidad virtuosa. No existe, en su concepción de la naturaleza humana, un vacío moral, sino, por el contrario, un compromiso con la virtud como la manifestación más alta de la libertad.
