Ecoinnovation or ecological innovation consists in the modification, improvement or development of new products, processes and technologies that favorably influences the environment and contributes to environmental sustainability.In recent years, ecoinnovation has experienced a great boom due to the increase in environmental protection laws and increased ecological awareness of society. This fact motivates the realization of this work. This report presents the results obtained in a study conducted to learn about the eco -flossing activities that the companies of the Region of Murcia are developing.The study focuses on companies that operate on key sectors of the region, specifically four of those included in the areas of specialization that make up the research and innovation strategy for the intelligent and sustainable specialization of the Region of Murcia, for the period 2021-2027 (RIS4 Region of Murcia): agri -food, chemical, habitat and footwear/fashion. 242 companies from these sectors participated in the study. The conclusions of this report, in addition to offering a first diagnosis of eco -innovation activities carried out by Murcia companies, can serve as a reference to companies, especially the analyzed sectors (footwear/fashion, chemical, habitat and agri -food), to comparetheir current situation with that of their sector and know if they have a margin of improvement and development possibilities until reaching the average values. This report can also be used for public administrations to identify the main areas in which it can help companies develop echoinnovations, for example, promoting collaboration with other companies and research centers or financially helping or with technological support services toCompanies that decide to bet on eco -innovation.
