Was haben Geschlecht und Sexualität mit Politik zu tun? Wie lauten queer_feministische Antworten auf die Fragen „Was ist politisch?" bzw. „Was ist Politik?" Dieses Buch befasst sich mit einer Kartographie westlicher queer_feministischer Beiträge zum Politikbegriff aus Theorie und Bewegung. Die Autorin identifiziert mehrere Aspekte als Bündelungspunkte für die Begriffsbestimmung, unter anderem die Identifizierung von Politik mit Macht und die Ausrichtung auf Allianzen. Sie erarbeitet anhand dieser Aspekte Vorschläge für einen geschlechter- und sexualitätsanalytischen Zugriff auf Politik. This book engages in a cartography of Western queer_feminist contributions to the concept of politics from theory and movement. The author identifies several aspects as bundling points for the definition of the term, including the identification of politics with power and the focus on alliances. She uses these aspects to develop proposals for a gender- and sexuality-analytic approach to politics. The systematization sheds light on the complexity and accompanying challenges of the conceptual field.
