This collection of original research papers examines a wide variety of aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on work and family life. The authors present important new findings from both quantitative surveys and in-depth interviews. This international collection includes reports on data collected in a range of countries, including Argentina, China, Italy, India, Taiwan, and the US. The introduction highlights a number of key findings and makes the case for the importance of continued research that will map out the various responses to the pandemic as well as the enduring impact of this event on children, families, work, and a wide variety of social institutions.
