At this time, conflict resolution techniques through the peaceful route of dialogue are expanding at a high rate in the countries of the so -called First World, while the strategies of (des) courtesy play a decisive role in such communicative contexts. The purpose of this book is to analyze in the Hispanic field a topic that is being very worked in Anglo -Saxon countries, such as the study of (des) courtesy from a preferably linguistic perspective. At present, in Spanish we do not find any manual where the most important contributions that have appeared on the strategies of (des) courtesy are explained;While it is true that more and more researchers are opting for this field of study. In addition, we provide an integrated proposal for the analysis and application of the courtesy, using work mediations as corpus.In the same way, we study the interruption processes that occur in such contexts, since the interruption and the courtesy are two aspects that are intimately related. In short, we are facing a book written with a flat and simple, intelligible language for all types of readers.
